Our Treats / Toppers   

FORMULATIONS:

All our Frozen Treats/Toppers are based in a proprietary Raw Goat Milk Yogurt, with numerous Superfoods blended in. Ingredients are human-grade, local & US-based, and mostly organic. We have 4 different formulations that may address the most common pet health concerns: immunity, joint health, digestion and vitality.

WHY RAW GOAT MILK?:

Raw goat milk is not pasteurized, and comes directly from the goat. It is packed with good bacteria (probiotics) that are not eliminated during pasteurization, allowing pets to fully absorb the nutrients from the foods they consume. We then ferment the raw milk to make a yogurt. The fermentation process adds more probiotics, which metabolize the lactose in milk and combine with its other nutrients to create more health-supporting compounds: calcium, protein, fatty acids, vitamins, electrolytes, enzymes, and trace elements. Raw goat milk is also known as the “universal milk” because it is very easy for all mammals to digest.

All pets can benefit from raw goat milk in their diet, but it is especially beneficial for pets who need digestive assistance and immune support, as well as picky eaters and sensitive pets.

ETHICAL GOAT  MILK SOURCING:

It is of the utmost importance to us that the goats we source milk from are humanely-raised on small farms and are fed a balanced diet, full of nutrients, not containing any antibiotics, hormones, animal by-products, or preservatives.

HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS:

KEEP FROZEN until ready to use. Serve frozen or thaw in refrigerator & serve immediately. You can serve our treat to your dog or cat frozen by itself, or it can be used as a healthy topper over kibble, wet food, or even raw food.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

Either Large Heart or Small Squares (from our Four or Six Packs)

• For pets under 20 lbs, feed 1/3 heart or 1 small squares a day

• For pets between 20-40 lbs, feed 2/3 heart or 2 small squares a day

• For pets between 50-80 lbs, feed 1 heart or 3 small squares a day

• For pets 80+ lbs, feed 1 1/2 hearts or 4 small squares a day

NOTE:

Our treats are intended for intermittent and supplemental feeding for dogs and cats. This means that while our treats themselves are not a complete and balanced meal, it can be added daily to a complete and balanced meal for additional nutrients. Our treats can be fed daily up to 20% of your dog or cat’s daily diet.
